Antique Coal Stove
This stove is an awesome example of ingenuity and craftsmanship. Crafted around the turn of the century, stoves such as this were commonly employed to heat homes before gas and electric central heat. This wonderful and functional antique stove could still be used for this purpose. Cast from heavy iron with intricate designs on the grating, this stove is quite beautiful. One interesting feature of this piece is the locking mechanism on the front doors. The keyhole is quite hidden in the center of the piece, but when the key is inserted, it smoothly opens the door to reveal the potbelly stove. This stove operates on coal or wood and will be wonderful in heating your home!!
