Antique Carved Oak Wall Shelf
This is a massive solid oak shelf beautifully hand carved and designed to draw attention. The center features a delicately carved "angel" with the crown of a flared seashell, and on either side you find deep carved scrolled pattern of medieval charm. Supporting the shelf is a scrolled carvefd acanthus leaf pattern, wide and solid. There are six brass hooks placed at the bottom of each of the scallops across the front, and notice the cool design on the top of the hooks--it looks like the lady and lord with their heads together. This would be a wonderful accent piece in the entry way, ready to hang keys, or jackets and convenient for dropping off the keys and wallets that need a safe place to park.
