Here is an absolutely darling small china cabinet, in the very old French country style, in deep rich dark oak. The two front doors feature raised arched panels, while the drawers have recessed panels, and original brass pulls, to match the escutcheons. There is plenty of room for storage behind the two front doors, and two drawers. The top unit has a darling arched cornice above a scalloped apron carved with branches and flowers. Underneath the apron you find one little scalloped shelf for display of your precious treasures, and flanked by two cupboard doors with raised arched panels, and shelves behind. This is a prized piece of furniture, rare to find, and endearing to anyone who sees it. Straight from the French countryside into your home with all it's old world charm. NOTE: From a small metal plaque that was attached inside the cabinet door we are able to know who made this cabinet. It says: "Fabrique Mecanique de Meubles, MICHEL PIRARD, 416 Rue de Herve 416, Bois de Breux (Liege)" which translated means, "Maker of Furniture, MICHEL PIRARD, streets address, town, which is Liege, just east of Brussels, Belgium.
