Intricate Porcelain urn Vase French
This is an absolutely gorgeous urn, beautifully hand painted every whit, and edged with gold, trimmed with brass. We found this piece at a neighborhood flea market in Belgium, and the person who was selling it told us he believed that it was Italian porcelain, made fairly recently. I bought it befcause it was flat out beautiful! I love the lines of the piece with the big bowed center piece, supporting the wide arched handles. Now notice the cutwork top and see that it looks like a miniature crown pklaced oh top--very regal, indeed. The top is like a little hat with a top notch, proudly setting of the whole piece. Now go to the bottom of the piece and see that it is set on a pedestal of ornate brass work. The pattern that is hand painted on the piece is of mythical birds, and lovely flowers, in multi colors, trimmed with etches of green grass. It is truly an elegant piece that you will be happy to display in a special spot that needs to say "royal"! nnoc50
