Handsome Antique Art Deco Armoire
This armoire is so handsome that it will definitely become the focal point of any room--it absolutely glows and gleams, top to bottom! The wide cornice frames the top straight across, and gives a nice accent to the beautiful arch of the middle door, which features a full length arched beveled mirror and carved flowers filling iin the corners of the door. It is interesting to see that on either side at the bottom is a deep carving of big bold flowers creeping up the two sides. The two doors on either side have a wide beveled mirror at the top, with a big basket of wide flowers carved in the middle, and a raised panel at the bottom. Underneath there are two large cove-tailed drawers, with raised panels, and wonderful hardware, original to the piece and a perfect match for the art deco style of the 1920's. Behind the three doors is a wide open space with a single rod running across the top--plenty of storage room here! This is such a beautiful armoire, that it will be welcome in any room in your home, from the bedroom to the entry way (great for hanging guest's coats) to the bedroom.
