This is a most exquisite chair, in the beautiful French flowing curves and carved flowers, and most especially we feature the gorgeous needlepoint handwork of the upholstery. Every single tiny flower and leaf on this design is done in petit point--which means hours and hours of work with either a magnifying glass or incredible eyes to be able to see these tiny miniscule stitches. The flowers are so incredibly delicate with a fine ribbon winding throughout the border. I am a person who has done a substantial amount of needlepoint work myself, and I certainly appreciate the work that was involved in this upholstery--awesome! It is particularly beauty for the delicacy of the pattern, and the nailhead trim and the hardwood frame.
