Antique Flemish Style Buffet
This is a very handsome buffet with a great combination ogf glass doors and deep carved doors, and especially large drawers—wonderful storage space and display space combined! The color is a very dark brown oak, which gives an extra richness and warmth that is so good looking! Notice the extremely thick carved sides including clusters of grapes and leaves, including a crest and note the thick acanthus leaf at the bottom. The glass doors have a nice square grid with the carved faces of the lady and lord of the manor at the top of the grid. Notice the very festive carved scenes on the two front doors—the whole village is involved in the celebration of some holiday, with flags and poles . Just to see these doors makes you feel like it's definitely a party!
