Handsome Vintage Egyptian Revival Style Sideboard Buffet
This is an incredibly beautiful sideboard with the sleek and slim lines of the popular empire style that swept both Europe and America in the late 40's and early 50's. It is copied after the influence the Egyptians, with the four brass sphinx heads on top of the long tapered columns that separate the four doors across the front which are tastefully trimmed with a thine brass line. The grain of the wood is exquisite with a very high gloss finish, in excellent condition. Notice also the tapered legs with their small brass cap at the bottom--this is a fabulous piece that will make an incredible statement of style from the way distant past--the Egyptians are forever formidable in their splendor of ages past.
