Beautiful Antique Louis Xvi Armoire Linen Closet
This is a perfect closet for storing everything you have in your house, from your favorite china set, to all your fine linens or lingeries. There are three solid wood shelves behind the two front doors--oodles of storage space, yeah! The large oval mirror is beveled and crowned by an ornate brass trim, coordinating the brass trim on the top of the cornice, and along the sides of the armoire. You can see there is a large dove-tailed drawer at the bottom trimmed with the same lovely pattern of brass. The side door has two rectangular beveled mirrors as well. It is typical of the Louis XVI style to have such gorgeous brass trim, and this one is super! The whole armoire is made of a solid oak, probably around the turn of the century, so we have age and beauty combined for a timeless image, both functional and valuable!
