This quiet, yet interesting painting is at once a serene view of a house on a hill, and a bright, exciting journey through a colorful landscape. Surrounded by a fascinating frame that looks like brushed aluminum, but it actually wood, this picture features a house in the foreground next to a dirt road that leads back to another house. The bright green of the grass and the white on the building contrast starkly with the dark bushes and pastel blue sky. This beautiful and fun painting by an artist named Dufois, dated 1915 is a wonderful piece. PLEASE NOTE: There is a hole in this piece, and although it is nearly a centimeter across, it is hardly noticeable. The bright colors of the piece easily distract from the damaged area, but please make sure to see it, as it is clearly visible in the photos.
