Antique Delft Ceramic Clock And Candelabras
This is a beautiful clock with two candelabras crafted in the beautiful delft ceramic ware of Holland, with elaborate brass trim. I actually found this clock set at a flea market in the center of Brussels, called the “Thief's Market” many years ago. This market opens at 6:00 a.m., but the buyers and sellers are there much earlier than that! I do not know if it works, because I never had it checked out. I put it in my fireplace mantle in our home in Brussels and I always loved it, with or without the clock working. Look at the beautiful handpainted scenes in the shades of blue and white. There is a graceful cherry blossom tree arching across the sky, and the typical dutch windmills and flat landscape across the clock, and the candelabras. Anywhere this set is placed will be a focal point of beauty and grace that will bring an atmosphere of antiquity to your home that you will cherish.
