Oil On Canvas Classic Renoir Reproduction
This is a reproduction of a classic painting done by Renoir, which hangs in the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. The first time I saw the original painting in that museum, about 15 years ago, I broke into tears! It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! This particular version was probably done by one of the students in the Academie Des Beaux Arts, in Brussels, where students study, among other things, the paintings of famous artists. This student's name was J. Edwards. I think he has done a particularly good job here. The colors are brilliant, everything is in the right proportions. This painting would be a fine addition to your décor, and give you and your family an appreciation for really great art.
