Exquisite Italian Inlaid Wood Coffee Table
This is a really beautiful table that will give an air of graciousness and elegance to all the furniture surrounding it! My favorite thing about the Italian inlaid wood pieces is that they use so many different types of wood to give all the different colors of the design. This piece has a beautiful floral garland pattern that surrounds the entire edge of the top of the table. You have every color from a pale green, to deep chocolate brown, tan, beige or cream. The amount of work it takes to create such a pattern, piece by piece is really incredible! The center has a type of burl wood pattern that gives mirror images of each other on each side. The edge is beautifully curved and double grooved, with a small apron surrounding the table. It sits on a lovely pedestal with four extra curved and cared legs radiating out from the center. This is a truly elegant piece you will be proud to display to friends and family, and you will always enjoy the admiring comments that will flow. This is a piece that was crafted in Italy, and we found it in Belgium, and have imported it to the USA! What a treasure travel!
