Beautiful Antique Ceramic And Bronze Chandelier
This is such a charming chandelier, that I fell in love with it right away, many years ago and it hung in all three of the homes I lived in during the twelve years I lived in Belgium. It is ornamented with very heavy bronze decoration leading to each of the six light fixtures, which are topped with beautiful glass covers that are elaborately decorated etchings. The base is ceramic and hand painted in blue and gold flowers. The wire for this fixture can be used as it is, but you need inserts for the light bulbs so you can use American light bulbs, instead of European light bulbs. They are easily purchased at any qualified light fixture store. You will certainly light up the place in a unique way reminiscent of the days of candles and oil lamps.
