This beautiful floral painting is an original offering purchased in Belgium where they have had an Academy of Arts for hundreds of years that is world famous. Many of the students offer their paintings for sale at the local flea markets, where this painting was found, although I believe that this painting has been around for a long time, due to the construction of the frame. It offers a large bouquet of spring pussy willows and daffodils in a ceramic vase, with brilliant colors of yellow, orange and gold. The frame is a very solid plaster on wood frame, with beautiful flared corners, and a textured surface that has been antiqued black against the gold.
