Beautiful Antique French Dark Oak Tudor China Cabinet Vitrine Nr
This really lovely antique French dark oak Tudor china cabinet/vitrine is a really fine example of the time period. The workmanship on this extends throughout the entire piece and is just fabulous. This piece will be wonderful in a dining room with its glass doors that will allow you to show off your fine china. It would also be really lovely in a den as a bookcase where you could show off your antique books and treasures. The hutch doors feature diamond paned inlaid glass that is in wonderful condition. The hutch is very simple with good clean lines and arched cutouts running along the top that make a stately appearance. The hutch contains two shelves that keep to the overall clean design of the top. The bottom of this cabinet is very much the classic Tudor style with its heavy design and style. Notice the wonderful carving work done on the doors. It is AMAZING!! The carvings feature floral designs surrounding the face of a cherub. The middle features diagonal book matched ends and a carved center medallion. The legs on this are a heavy cup and saucer. This is a wonderful piece that has working locks and the keyholes are a really fine antique brass. This really is an all around good look for any room in the house.
