This is a super elegant wardrobe, crafted in Belgium of a truly glowing golden oak, and quality abounds in every inch! Look at the two front doors—awesome is a word that comes to mind! They both have thick raised panels with graceful flowing curves, and deeply carved scroll work in the inside top corners. Notice the ornate escutcheons on both the doors and the finial style hinges. The crowning glory of the wardrobe, of course, is the center top where you find a large deeply carved flared seashell, framed on both sides by the wide curved cornice . Both sides have three raised panels, and there is a nicely curved apron across the bottom, with a small flared seashell that echoes the grand one on the top. When you open the two doors, you see a row of shelves on the right side, and one long shelf across the top of the left side. Notice the trim on the edges of the shelves—a small trim of inlaid wood. That's a good indication of the quality and attention to detail that has gone into the construction of this wardrobe. There are brackets on either side of the left opening that will allow you to mount a rod across, if you would like to use that space for hanging clothes.
