Unique Antique 1900s Oak Armoire
This is a totally unique armoire, made around the 1900's in Belgium of a solid golden oak. There are three front doors, the center door featuring a darling full length beveled mirror framed by a charming arch of flower bouquets that match wonderfully with the crown right above it. It is hand carved with much detail and depth. Each of the side doors also has a center carving on the raised panel of a flower bouquet , and there are long fluted panels in between the doors. Underneath the doors are three drawers with fluted panels and dove-tailed joints, with the original brass pulls. Behind the right door are shelves for storage of flat items, and behind the other two doors is a wide open space with a rod across the top for hanging clothes. You can imagine how lovely this armoire would be in an entryway to greet guests and family—it would be an excellent way to provide a space for hanging coats and jackets—much more original than a regular closet door!!! Or place it in the bedroom and have extra storage space in beauty and style that is yours alone.
