Unique Antique 1900s Oak Side Table

This is a solid oak table, hand crafted around the turn of the century in a charming style that gives a large open space in the center, which is perfect for stacking books, or displaying your favorite curios. The top drawer is deeply fluted and has dove-tailed joints. On the bottom is a door that opens to a good storage space for other items, with a charming flower hand carved on the front raised panel. The marble top is one inch thick, and is made from a marble that was quarried in Belgium at the turn of the century, and no longer exists—so the value is high! The marble is a deep tan/maroon with large veins of gray and white. It is very striking in appearance and something completely unique. What a great piece this would make in your home with any number of uses. Note that it is sturdy enough to support quite a bit of weight and still be stable.
