The Rocaille style is the most opulent, intentionally excessive version of the Louis XV form. It is characterized by exaggerated curves and extensive carving, sculpting, and ornamentation, most commonly including scrolls, seashells and acanthus leaves. Made from incredible European hardwood in the impeccable Rocaille style, this dresser glows! Right away you will notice the fabulous brass hardware, which features fabulously intricate Rocaille shells. The straight lines of this piece are quite elegant.
