Antique Louis Xv China Cabinet Bookcase
It’s hard to know where to begin describing such a piece as this. The detail carve work is really amazing and the design as a whole is fabulous. This cabinet is so versatile that you could place it in your dining room, den, or even at your office at work. It states sophistication and style with an old world touch. The top of the cabinet is crowned with a Rococo shell and sculpted edging. The sides of the top are carved with a slight scroll and leaf pattern. The beautiful paned glass windows found on the top doors are cut into soft curves that are carved elegantly into the wood. Between the two doors is a similar scrolled and leaf pattern that is found on the corners. The interior has two shelves that would look wonderful displaying your china or those antique books. The bottom of the case has two doors that are beautifully paneled with delicate scrolls. The bottom corners and middle are replica carving found on the top portion. The bottom has plenty of storage room for those things that you would like to have but not shown. The apron of the cabinet is extenuate with it’s beautiful carving, scallops, and shell. Cabriole legs that are nice and petite carry this piece nicely. I love this piece and I know you will too.
