Six Antique Early French Dark Oak Dining Chairs

These dining room chairs are just about the prettiest set I have ever seen. First of all I love the very deep dark oak they are made of--solid and flowing, and handcrafted. The main feature that makes them totally unique above other sets, is the arched roiunded front of the seat that delicately curves in at the sides. Now notice the wonderful apron that curves around this beautiful shape, and the fabulous carving at the top of the long thin cabriole legs, with Queen Ann style feet. The back curves upward and dives in the center with the carved seashell, and reminds me of the shape of a queen's crown. Notice the beautiful oak wood grain that is so prominent in the back middle of the back--it is one of the features of oak that I love most. The cushions have been newly reupholstered with a lovely woven tapestry that shows delicate bouquets of flowers against a dark beige background, and the pattern is perfect for the handsome style of the chairs. If you appreciate the unique and are tuned in to value (just because the worth of these chairs will go up every year for sure), these chairs are for you! Don't miss out!
