Pretty Carved French Oak Armoire
This is a lovely armoire in glowing golden oak that measures 86.5” wide. The lines flow in the classic Louis XV style, with each of the four front doors featuring lovely curved panels with a recessed frame around the middle raised panel. The sides of the armoire are even paneled. The wide cornice flows gracefully across the top and is crowned by the signature, flared seashell of Louis XV, and is supported by the classic cabriole legs. The doors feature amazing carvings that are simply pretty to look at. The doors have finial hinges and wonderful working locks. The keys to these locks are pretty unto themselves. Behind the right door you will see a set of three shelves, perfect for storage of folded clothing or linens, or a myriad of other things, and behind the other three doors is a large wide open space with a small long shelf across the top. This is a perfect armoire for storing all those clothing items that just don't fit in nicely to your existing closets. We have even seen families that are adding a bedroom to their home, and have decided that the cost of the armoire is cheaper than making a built in closet, and much more beautiful!
